What is in it
A real scanned body
Thousands of separate 3D models from a segmented human body, not drawings. Turn it, zoom in, look from any side.
Layers, from skin to marrow
Tick skeleton, muscles, nerves, arteries, organs and more. A deeper layer makes the outer ones see-through, so nothing you asked for is hidden.
Click anything
Every structure has a name, a Latin name and a plain description: what it looks like, what it does and how to keep it well.
Conditions on the body
Pick a condition and red markers show where it sits. Each has symptoms, warning signs, ICD codes and four kinds of treatment.
Evidence, marked honestly
Every alternative approach carries a mark for how it fared when tested, and each treatment line links to its studies on PubMed.
Search by name or by symptom
Type a part, a disease or a few symptoms in any of the languages. The best matches come first.
Cut planes and X-ray
Slice the whole body across, front to back or side to side, or make every outer layer see-through at once.
Male and female
Two bodies with their own skin and organs. Switch with one click.

Coming soonQuestions
Is Anatom really free?
Yes. Every part, model, condition and language is free and stays free. Anatom PRO is a separate paid app that adds tools for studying and teaching; it does not lock any content.
Is this medical advice?
No. Anatom is for education and entertainment only. It is not a diagnosis, not a prescription and not a medical device. Talk to a doctor about your health; in an emergency call 112 or 911.
Why does Windows or macOS warn me about the app?
The app is not yet signed with a paid publisher certificate, so the system does not know its maker. On Windows click More info, then Run anyway. On macOS open System Settings → Privacy & Security and click Open Anyway.
What does my computer need?
A 64-bit computer with Windows 10 or 11, macOS 13 or newer, or Linux, and a graphics chip from the last ten years or so. It works offline once installed.
Does it collect anything about me?
No. There are no accounts, no tracking, no analytics and no ads. Your settings stay on your computer.
What do I get with PRO?
A quiz, flashcards with spaced repetition, a timed exam, a patient mode with a pen, and export to PNG or PDF. You pay once; updates are free for at least a year.
Where do the 3D models come from?
From BodyParts3D (Database Center for Life Science, CC BY 4.0) and Z-Anatomy (CC BY-SA 4.0), with a female skin based on MakeHuman (CC0). See Credits and licences for the full list and what was changed.
Can I use it in class or in my practice?
Yes. The free app may be used for any lawful purpose, and you may pass the download on. PRO is licensed per person.
